M.A. Semester 2

It's well past time I did this, but it'll be a short post nevertheless; too much to do, too much to do.

I'm in the third week of my second semester at Talbot, and it's already been an interesting semester. Class schedule:

Metaphysics 1: What does it mean for something to exist? Are there different kinds of existence? What is the nature of reality? These questions and others like them will either drive me to new heights of philosophical wisdom or crush me into a gibbering heap. Either way, good times lie ahead. :-p

Theology 2 ("Works of God, Angels, Man, and Sin"): We spent the first day talking about predestination in its various forms. If metaphysics doesn't warp my mind, this class will take another shot at it.

New Testament Survey: No brain-twisting challenges here, just lots and lots of reading and writing.

Spiritual Mentoring Group: Sort of like a prayer group, I'm actually enjoying it so far. We have little devos and get a chance to take a break from the rigorously academic side of "seminary life."

All in all, I'm excited about these classes and looking forward to the rest of the semester.

Oh, and happy SAD to all. ;-D
